Condition Templates & Worksheets
We provide condition-specific worksheets and templates for documenting your disabilities — whether physical injuries, chronic conditions, or mental health diagnoses including PTSD, depression, anxiety, and chronic stress. Every condition matters. Every worksheet is designed to help you describe it in the language the VA needs to hear.
Doctor & Therapist Discussion Guides
One of the most overlooked parts of a strong claim is the medical evidence supporting it. Phase Two
C&P Exam Preparation
The Compensation & Pension exam is the most underestimated phase of the entire claims process — and the one most claim sharks and VSOs leave veterans to face alone. Not here.
What Is a C&P Exam?
After your claim is filed, the VA will often schedule a Compensation & Pension (C&P) exam — a medical evaluation conducted by a VA-contracted examiner to assess the severity and service connection of your conditions. This exam plays a major role in your final rating determination, and many veterans walk in completely unprepared.
Where Veterans Get Left Behind
Too many claims organizations focus on the filing and walk away. The C&P exam is where ratings get shortchanged — not because veterans don’t have real disabilities, but because they don’t know how to accurately communicate their conditions during a brief, high-stakes evaluation. The examiner’s report can make or break a rating, and most veterans don’t know what to say or how to say it.
Our C&P Preparation Module
VetBeacon’s dedicated C&P preparation module covers everything: what to expect walking in, how the exam is structured, how to accurately describe your physical conditions including how they’ve affected your life over time — not just the original injury. We also place a strong emphasis on mental health conditions. PTSD, depression, anxiety, chronic stress, and other invisible wounds are real, serious, and ratable — and veterans deserve to be fully equipped to represent those conditions in the exam room.

Phase Three
Post-Decision Support
The claim is closed. The VA has spoken. But our support never stops — because for many veterans, this is where the real work begins.
Reviewing the Outcome Together
When your decision letter arrives, our team reviews it alongside you. We help you understand exactly what the VA approved, what was denied, what rating was assigned to each condition, and whether the outcome accurately reflects your claim. Not every decision is the right one — and knowing the difference matters.
When the Answer Is Yes
A fully approved claim is a milestone worth celebrating — but it’s rarely the final word. As conditions evolve, secondary conditions emerge, or new evidence becomes available, our program keeps you informed of your options and prepared for the next step in your benefits journey.
When the Answer Is No (or Not Enough)
Denials happen. Underratings happen. Neither is the end of the road. Our claims knowledge base covers the VA’s appeal lanes — including supplemental claims, higher-level reviews, and Board of Veterans’ Appeals options — and our support team is equipped to help you understand what went wrong and what documentation can strengthen your next submission.
Additional Documentation & Requests
After a decision, the VA may request additional evidence or schedule follow-up evaluations. Our resource library includes guides on responding to these requests effectively, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks and your response is timely and complete.
