Rating Determination
A VA rater assigns disability percentages based on all evidence

A VA rater evaluates all evidence and C&P exam results and assigns a disability percentage to each service-connected condition using the VA’s Schedule for Rating Disabilities (VASRD). These individual ratings are then combined into a total rating using the VA’s combined ratings formula.
